Since its establishment in 1983, Officine Meccaniche Irpine (OMI) has been operating in the aerospace and defense sector with both national and foreign clients in Europe, America and Africa. OMI boasts a consolidated relationship of collaboration with the main sector’s Prime Contractors, including Leonardo, Boeing, Airbus and Lockheed Martin, as a supplier of large and complex aerostructures and aircraft support equipment.

With the two production plants in the “Calaggio Industrial Area” of ​​Lacedonia and the two production plants in the Industrial Area of Vallata, in southern Italy, OMI accounts for a total work area of ​​over 20,000 square meters and a workforce of about 95 employees.

OMI offers a complete and verticalized technological offer of services and products including design and development, production, surface treatments, qualifications and functional tests.

Thanks to the different technologies and proprietary products developed, certifications obtained in the aeronautical and defense sectors, advanced production and thanks to our talents, OMI is proposed as GLOBAL TIER 1 PARTNER of the PRIME CIVIL AND DEFENSE CONTRACTORS.

As a strategic partner of Leonardo, OMI participates in the “Leonardo Empowering Advanced Partnership” LEAP program, aimed at supporting the sustainable growth of companies able to compete on the national and international market.
